The town of Denton, MT, has been devastated by a fast-moving wildfire that forced all residents to evacuate on Wednesday, December 1.
According to reports, although there have been no serious injuries, the fire destroyed approximately 25 structures, including grain elevators and bridges.
Downed power lines are believed to be the cause of the fire that started north of Stanford, MT, on Tuesday night. High winds spread the fire to Denton, a small community of 205 in Fergus County, by early Wednesday afternoon.
