The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration will partner with businesses nationwide to celebrate Safe + Sound Week from Aug. 11-17, 2025.
The annual event recognizes successful workplace safety programs while providing resources to help businesses protect workers. This year’s initiative will emphasize emergency preparedness and response, acknowledging that unexpected events can occur anywhere and potentially disrupt operations or endanger workers and the public.
OSHA will offer resources to help organizations stay informed, develop emergency action plans and prepare effective responses to workplace emergencies.
“Any organization, regardless of size or industry, can participate,” said an OSHA spokesperson. More than 5,000 businesses joined last year’s event to raise awareness about worker safety.
Interested organizations can visit the Safe + Sound Week website to register and access planning resources and promotional tools.
