Firefighters were still assessing damage Friday to one of the tall grain silos at the ADM terminal in Ottawa Lake, MI, that caught fire Thursday and drew multiple fire departments to try to put it out, reports The Monroe News.
The 115-foot-tall silo was still intact and burning and smoldering Friday afternoon as fire department officers met with ADM personnel to evaluate what to do with the silo.
The fire and smoke could be seen for at least a mile. Multiple fire departments fought the blaze all day Thursday when the first fire call went out at 9:25 a.m.
