KSBY's Izzy Romero reported on A devastating fire engulfed Templeton, California, Feed and Grain, a family-owned landmark since 1946, late on July 4. Fire Chief Tom Peterson reported the blaze could take days to extinguish due to the building's height and flammable contents.

The community has rallied in support, with residents expressing deep emotional connections to the structure. However, the incident has strained local water resources, prompting officials to request conservation measures.

Co-owner Laura Jermin-Humphrey stated that surveillance footage suggests fireworks as the cause, though the investigation is ongoing. The uninsured building likely won't be rebuilt, but the family plans to continue serving the community, possibly from a temporary location.
