Conveyor belt system exploded Friday night

An explosion at an Archer Daniels Midland Co. corn plant in Decatur, IL, left no injuries Friday night, according to a spokeswoman for the company, reports the Herald & Review.

The explosion occurred around 8 p.m. in the conveyor belt system at the Decatur corn plant, said Jackie Anderson, a spokeswoman for ADM.
