The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) has revealed its candidate roster for the upcoming Board of Directors election, featuring professionals from across the grain handling and processing sectors. Jon Brown of MKC leads the slate as the sole candidate for Second Vice President, while twelve accomplished individuals compete for seven director positions.
The director candidates represent a broad spectrum of industry expertise, including Scott Biel (MKC), Sean Farrell (The DeLong Co), Adam Geers (Michigan Agricultural Commodities), and Charlie Hurburgh (Iowa State University). Additional nominees include Danny Lien (Ag Processing Inc), Beth Locken, Alex Luce (Ecolab), Erin Mies (People Spark Consulting), Bob Reis (Electro-Sensors Inc), Matthew Schmitt (Keen Project Solutions), Allan Venters (Solentra), and Chad Wolf (Mass Flow Sourcing).
“These exceptional leaders bring the experience and vision needed to build on our strengths,” said Bob Horvat, GEAPS First Vice President and Nominations Committee Chair. Online voting opens April 15, with candidate bios and videos to be released in the coming months.
