Men rescued from grain bin in Marked Tree, Arkansas

The K8 Newsdesk and Griffin DeMarra reported on a recent incident in Poinsett County, Arkansas, for kait8. Two men found themselves in a perilous situation inside a grain bin. Multiple emergency departments and dedicated rescue teams worked tirelessly to free the trapped individuals.

On a Thursday morning in Poinsett County, a distress call reached the emergency departments. Reports indicated that two men were trapped inside a grain bin on Leatherwood Lane, just north of Marked Tree. The gravity of the situation prompted a swift response from multiple agencies, including the Poinsett County Sheriff's Department, Lepanto Fire Department, and Riverside Ambulance.

After hours of efforts the second man was finally freed from the grain bin, unharmed and able to walk away from the incident without any injuries. Chief Earnie Hill    expressed the profound sense of relief and accomplishment when a rescue mission concludes successfully.

"When he gets out and he is walking and talking, it is just a wonder feeling. It means everyone did a great job,"  Earnie Hill, Lepanto Fire Chief.
