A grain elevator burned to the ground in Crystal City, Manitoba, Canada, on Monday, reports CBC.
Residents say the elevator, owned by Paterson Grain, caught fire around 6 p.m.
Colleen Henderson, who is part of the emergency response team in Crystal City, described the blaze as an explosion.
The fire also damaged businesses nearby.
It is not known if there were any injuries. Paterson Grain did not immediately respond to a request from CBC for comment on Monday evening.
