KMIZ-TV's Haley Swaino reported that Central Missouri AgriService is rebuilding its Slater, Missouri, facility after an April EF-2 tornado damaged eight grain bins at the Saline County site. The company estimates the restoration at about $5 million.

The storm tore through the company's grain elevators, leaving behind cleanup and reconstruction work that has now stretched across about six months. Facility manager Tedd Wiseman said the past six months have been busy with cleanup and rebuilding at the Slater location.

The restoration covers damaged bin infrastructure and the repairs needed to bring the facility back into service.
