Bunge has divested five grain elevators in Western Canada as part of its regulatory commitment to the Canadian government following its merger with Viterra. The facilities were sold to local operators: Direct Grain Limited now runs the Dixon, Saskatchewan site; Linear Grain Inc. purchased the Fannystelle, Manitoba location; and BP & Sons Grain and Storage Inc. acquired the Beausejour, Tucker, and Coulter sites in Manitoba.

A tentative agreement has been reached to sell a sixth facility in Valparaiso, Saskatchewan, pending approval from the Minister of Transport, with closing expected soon after.

Since July 2, these facilities have been held separate from Bunge’s main operations and managed independently by a Hold Separate Manager, with the sales process overseen by a government-approved third party.

In a separate transaction, Bunge also sold its Eyebrow, Saskatchewan grain elevator to F.W. Cobs, unrelated to the divestiture commitments.

These moves fulfill Bunge’s obligations to secure regulatory approval for its merger and reflect its ongoing efforts to comply with government conditions while supporting local grain operations.
