AFCO Distribution & Milling and Alaska Mill & Feed have joined forces following the acquisition of Alaska Mill & Feed by AFCO’s parent company, Skagit Farmers Supply. The partnership combines two established companies with complementary strengths in wholesale pet distribution and feed manufacturing.

“This acquisition is a natural fit,” said Lloyd Campbell, vice president of AFCO. “By combining our resources and expertise, we can better serve our customers, strengthen our supply chain, and continue to grow in a way that benefits everyone involved.”

Joel Klessens, president of Alaska Mill & Feed, emphasized shared values: “AFCO shares our passion for providing exceptional products and services. This partnership allows us to build on our strengths while maintaining the values that have made us a trusted partner in Alaska.”

The collaboration will leverage each company’s expertise in agronomy, feed milling, and pet distribution to foster innovation and deliver enhanced value to customers and communities.

Tom Boland, CEO of Skagit Farmers Supply, said the vision is to honor both companies’ histories while building a stronger future together, benefiting the industries and regions they serve.
