Berndtson started in the feed and grain industry in 1990 when he was employed as a manager at a Wisconsin feed mill and premix manufacturing facility.
Leading up to CompuWeigh, Berndtson spent time in the animal feed industry selling automated control systems to feed mills, pet food plants and grain facilities.
Berndtson has been active with the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), serving on the Equipment Manufacturers Committee. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelors degree in agricultural engineering.
