The National Grain and Feed Association will hold its seventh annual Harvest Safety Week Aug. 24-28, 2026, offering safety resources for feed and grain operations ahead of fall harvest.
NGFA members can sign up for daily emails throughout the week featuring recorded presentations and written materials on three topics: heat illness and fatigue, grain dryer safety and dump safety.
The heat-related sessions will cover warning signs and ways to reduce risk during long harvest days. Dryer presentations will address operation, maintenance and hazard prevention, while dump safety sessions will focus on preventing incidents near dump pits, trucks and high-traffic areas.
Each presentation will draw on past incidents and real-world lessons to give teams examples they can use before and during harvest.
Materials are open to all NGFA members, who can register at ngfa.org/safety. Much of the content will stay available year-round with support from the National Grain and Feed Foundation.
