Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) is building a new 2 million-bushel grain storage building at its shuttle loading facility in Red Cloud, Nebraska. The project also includes a 30,000-bushel-per-hour dump pit and receiving leg to increase handling speed.
Construction is underway, with completion expected by early fall 2026. The upgraded facility is planned to be fully operational in time for the fall harvest.
“Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas have experienced record yields several times over the past few years,” said Justin Yoesel, vice president of grain at CPI. “The improvements to our Red Cloud facility will significantly enhance our ability to handle increased volumes more quickly and efficiently than ever before. In addition to increased speed and capacity, these upgrades will improve our flexibility and efficiency when loading shuttle trains.”
Yoesel also thanked the CPI Board of Directors for their ongoing support of facility investments. Additional details will be shared as the project progresses.
