Nutrien Ag Solutions honors top performers in sustainable agriculture and crop yields

Dyna-Gro Seed farmers recognized for outstanding achievements in national contests

Nutrien Ag Solutions has announced its 2024 Sustainable Success Champions and high-yield contest winners, celebrating agricultural innovation and sustainable farming practices.

The Sustainable Success Champions program, launched in 2022, recognizes growers and crop consultants implementing advanced sustainable agricultural solutions. Dr. Sally Flis, Director of Sustainable Ag Programs, emphasized the program's importance: "It takes time and patience to implement more sustainable ag practices and capture accurate field data."

This year's highlights include:

  • 40 Dyna-Gro corn entries placed in the National Corn Grower Association's 2024 Yield Contest across 19 states
  • 383 total Dyna-Gro corn entries from 28 states
  • One national wheat winner and 13 state winners from eight states

Sustainable Success Champions for 2024 include:

  • Brent Rogers from Hoxie, Kansas
  • John Cato from Altus, Oklahoma
  • Aaron & Brannon Black from Aylett, Virginia
  • Mark Thomsen from Waterville, Washington

Rob Dunlop, Vice President of North America Seed, noted the significance of seed selection: "Choosing seed is the first important decision of any growing season."

The top performers were rewarded with a paid trip to the Commodity Classic tradeshow in Denver and recognized alongside their crop consultants.

Rob Clayton, Senior Vice President of North American Retail, highlighted the company's commitment: "When our customers succeed, we succeed."

The program showcases Nutrien Ag Solutions' focus on supporting agricultural innovation, sustainable practices, and high-yield farming techniques. With 2,000 locations globally, the company continues to provide comprehensive agricultural solutions to farmers nationwide.

Winners demonstrated exceptional performance in various categories, including dryland and irrigated crops, no-till farming, and sustainable agricultural practices.
