The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has opened its call for speaker and session proposals for the 2027 Purchasing & Ingredient Suppliers Conference (PISC), inviting animal feed and pet food purchasing teams and ingredient suppliers to help shape the program. PISC 2027 is scheduled for March 16-18, 2027, in Orlando, Florida.
AFIA says it is looking for "industry experts to share insights" at the conference, which is built for professionals working where ingredient strategy, procurement pressure and supplier relationships meet.
That audience gives the event a practical edge. Purchasing leaders come looking for market intelligence they can put to work, while ingredient suppliers want a clearer read on what customers need from pricing, availability and service.
Sessions selected for PISC 2027 will cover ingredient-sourcing realities along with the purchasing decisions affecting feed and pet food operations. Proposals built around real market experience, whether from suppliers, buyers or technical specialists, fit the event's core audience.
The March 2027 dates give prospective speakers room to develop substantive sessions. They also give ingredient suppliers and purchasing professionals time to think through the market questions they want answered in Orlando: how to manage supply relationships, how to read ingredient trends and how to make better purchasing calls under pressure.
The agenda itself will take shape from the proposals AFIA receives.
