Chelsea GoodChelsea GoodChelsea Good, founder of Good & Associates, will lead a session at the Animal Agriculture Alliance's 2026 Stakeholders Summit discussing why animal agriculture cannot opt out of political advocacy.

The 2026 Summit, themed "High Steaks: Navigating Pressure on Animal Protein," is set for May 5-7 in Kansas City, Mo. Early bird registration rates are extended through March 6, offering savings up to $100.

Animal agriculture is facing unprecedented political, cultural and public scrutiny. Good's session will reframe high-profile challenges as catalysts for smarter, more proactive advocacy, drawing on recent industry experiences to illustrate why engagement must begin before issues escalate.

Attendees will leave with a practical roadmap for managing risk through early relationship-building, coordinated messaging and strategic preparedness.

"The political sphere is increasingly being leveraged by animal rights activist organizations and other adversarial groups to target animal agriculture," said Emily Ellis, director of communications and marketing at Animal Agriculture Alliance. "As pressures mount, it's more important now than ever that the agriculture community is prepared to tackle oncoming challenges."

Good is founder of Good & Associates, a multi-client firm specializing in issues management, government affairs, strategic communications and industry relations for the agriculture sector. From 2013 to 2025, Good served as vice president of government and industry affairs and legal at Livestock Marketing Association, representing livestock auctions across the U.S.
