The International Production & Processing Expo 2026 (IPPE) will host a special nutrition program titled “A New Understanding About ‘Old’ Ingredients” on Wednesday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET. The session will bring together leading experts to share the latest research revealing new performance benefits of ingredients long used in animal feed.
Yuan-Tai Hung, Ph.D., senior manager of research at the Institute for Feed Education and Research, said the symposium offers feed industry professionals a chance to revisit familiar ingredients with an evidence-based perspective. “New research continues to uncover hidden benefits and impacts, shaping how we apply precision nutrition to improve diet formulation and animal performance,” Hung said.
Attendees will learn how established ingredients contribute to animal health, nutrition efficiency and sustainability. The program will also cover emerging findings on the roles of micro- and macro-ingredients in modern feed strategies.
The event encourages interactive discussions and networking among nutritionists, researchers and industry professionals to foster collaboration and innovation.
Registration is open with a discounted rate of $79 available through Jan. 9, 2026.
