
The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS) Winter Meeting has set a new attendance record, drawing more than 980 participants to discuss critical issues facing the rail shipping industry. The event focused on strategies for North American railroads to increase market share by leveraging their competitive advantages and functioning as an optimized network.

Looking ahead, MARS has announced its Summer Meeting, scheduled for July 8-9 at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This event will be held in conjunction with the MARS Scholarship Golf Outing, with the golf event taking place on Tuesday, July 8, followed by meetings on Wednesday, July 9, to accommodate the Independence Day holiday weekend.
