AFIA unveils 2025 event schedule for animal food industry

Lineup includes new offerings and continued partnerships to drive industry growth and professional development.

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has announced its 2025 calendar of events, featuring a robust lineup of conferences, professional development opportunities and online education courses. The schedule caters to professionals across the animal food industry, offering a mix of established favorites and new programming.

Key highlights of the 2025 AFIA event schedule include:

  1. International Feed Expo at IPPE (Jan. 28-30, Atlanta, GA)
  2. Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference (March 18-20, Orlando, FL)
  3. Liquid Feed Symposium (Sept. 9-11, Fort Worth, TX)
  4. Executive Leadership Summit and Rising Leaders Program (Oct. 8-10, Deer Valley, UT)
  5. New PCQI Refresher Course (Dec. 9-10, Nashville, TN)

Jessica Morse, AFIA's director of meetings and events, emphasized the association's commitment to providing valuable industry engagement opportunities. "AFIA is thrilled to kick off 2025 with a lineup of prominent industry events that provide exceptional educational, networking and professional development opportunities for individuals across the animal food industry," Morse stated.

The association will continue its partnership with Kansas State University, offering the "AFIA-KSU 500: Fundamentals of Feed Manufacturing" online course quarterly. Additionally, AFIA will offer its new "AFIA 600: Designing, Implementing and Documenting an Animal Food Safety Plan" course, launched in 2024, twice in 2025.

Early-bird registration for several events, including IPPE and the Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference, ends on January 10, 2025. Industry professionals are encouraged to visit afia.org/events for more information and to register for upcoming events.
