The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) is now accepting speaker applications for its flagship event, GEAPS Exchange, scheduled for February 22-25, 2025, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Missouri. Known as the largest and most comprehensive gathering in the grain industry, GEAPS Exchange draws thousands of professionals eager to share knowledge and learn about the latest in grain operations.
Last year's event attracted 3,716 attendees from 45 states and 23 countries, representing nearly 1,000 companies, setting a new record for participation in its educational sessions. The conference features a range of topics including safety, maintenance, processing, management training, and automation.
Scott Biel, Director of Safety at MKC and Chairman of GEAPS' Exchange Education Planning Committee (EPC), highlighted the value of participating as a speaker. "GEAPS Exchange offers a unique platform for industry experts to disseminate their expertise and foster cooperative relationships within the grain handling sector," Biel stated.
Speakers at GEAPS Exchange benefit significantly, receiving complimentary full-access event registration, promotion through GEAPS' social media channels, and inclusion in GEAPS’ extensive Video Library. Their presentations also help to draw attention to the innovative solutions their companies offer, as Kevin Walker from Dodge Industrial noted. "Presenting at the Exchange enhanced our engagement with potential clients and effectively drove traffic to our team and expo booth," Walker shared.
Interested speakers are encouraged to submit their proposals by September 1, with notifications to start in late September. Applications can be submitted through the GEAPS website at geaps.com/exchange/call-for-speakers.
Booth sales for GEAPS Exchange 2025 will begin in October, and attendee registration will open in November. For more updates and information, keep an eye on GEAPS’ communication channels.
