SwiftCurrentOnline.com's Jenny Hagan reported that a worker escaped serious injury after part of a grain elevator collapsed onto a track hoe during demolition work in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan, earlier this week.
Video circulating on TikTok shows the elevator structure falling directly onto the excavator, crushing the area next to the operator’s cab. Dust and debris quickly filled the area as the machine became partially buried beneath the collapsed structure.
The track hoe sustained substantial damage, with photos showing the cab heavily crushed. Despite the extensive equipment damage, witnesses reported the operator escaped without serious injuries.
No official statement has been released regarding the incident.
