The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) has announced Morris Packaging as the first company to achieve its top-tier Northstar membership, a milestone that highlights the company’s commitment to responsible sourcing, transparency and environmental stewardship within the pet industry.

Morris Packaging, a PSC member since 2019, elevated its partnership to Northstar level to align with PSC’s leadership in advancing sustainability. “Morris is most proud of our company-wide dedication and technical expertise to continuously push the envelope and develop eco-friendly structures to serve the changing legislation along with delivering the most sustainable packaging options to meet our customer's needs,” said Penny Steinwagner, director of sustainability at Morris Packaging.

As a Northstar member, Morris Packaging’s efforts include developing sustainable packaging solutions that address evolving legislation and consumer demands. Its commitment aligns with PSC’s broader goals of fostering environmental and social progress across the pet industry’s supply chain.

Morris Packaging's dedication to innovation and circular sustainability sets a powerful example for the pet industry,” said Jim Lamancusa, executive director of PSC. “From integrating recycled content into their packaging to their deep involvement with PSC and our events like Pet Summit Impact Unleashed, they continue to lead the way in driving meaningful progress for the planet, their customers, and the entire industry.”
