The Grain Elevator and Processing Society announces that courses in its Distance Education Program are now available on-demand.
Courses cover technical aspects of grain handling, including safety, grain receiving, grain quality and equipment repair.
"We’ve always been the leader in providing technical training to the grain industry and we are now excited to offer our courses anytime on-demand,” says Steve Records, GEAPS executive director.
“Our online courses will develop your team into experts who can do the job effectively and safely and positively impact your company’s bottom line. Whether you are looking to onboard new employees, introduce interns to the industry or cross-train your seasoned teammates, our courses are a great tool to use with your training programs.”
Each course in the program is roughly 10 hours long and can be completed at any pace over five weeks. Lectures consist of narrated presentations with quizzes and handouts. Courses cost $700 for GEAPS members and $965for non-members. Special pricing is available for companies looking to purchase 10 or more registrations at once.
