The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service will hold its biannual Data Users' Meeting on October 21 at the Iowa Farm Bureau Facility in West Des Moines.

The free event will be offered both in-person and virtually, with registration required for all participants.

"The Data Users' Meeting is a unique opportunity for data users to be informed and involved in guiding the agricultural information USDA produces now and into the future," said Agricultural Statistics Board Chair Lance Honig.

The meeting is organized by NASS in cooperation with five other USDA agencies – Agricultural Marketing Service, Economic Research Service, Farm Service Agency, Foreign Agricultural Service, and World Agricultural Outlook Board – along with the Census Bureau's Foreign Trade Division.

Representatives from the Risk Management Agency and U.S. Energy Information Administration will also be available to address specific topics.

The agenda will include agency updates on recent and pending changes to statistical programs, followed by an open forum where attendees can ask questions and provide input.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. CT at 5400 University Avenue in West Des Moines.
