The Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit will celebrate its 15th anniversary from Sept. 22-24, 2026, in New Orleans, the city that first hosted the event. Recognized as the premier gathering to empower, connect and elevate women in agrifood systems, this year’s Summit will feature partnerships with the United Nations’ Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) in honor of 2026 as the International Year of the Woman Farmer.
The three-day event typically draws over 800 attendees from nearly all U.S. states and a dozen countries, with more than half holding leadership roles. Attendees represent the full agricultural value chain, from inputs to production and distribution.
WIA’s portfolio director, Svitlana Synkovska, emphasized the Summit’s business focus, curated content, and robust networking opportunities designed to build knowledge and foster collaboration.
This year’s program includes special profiles on women in farming, expanded recognition for WIA Demeter Award of Excellence recipients, and student scholarship winners. Over 250 companies participate, supported by nearly 50 sponsors including Syngenta, Cargill, Nationwide and Wells Fargo.
Early bird registration is open through Feb. 27, with an additional 10% discount available using the code ATTEND.
