The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS) will host its annual Winter Meeting Jan. 13-15, 2026, at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Illinois with the theme "Fast Track to the Future."

The premier industry gathering will include presentations from five railroad C-level executives, including CPKC President & CEO Keith Creel, BNSF Railway President & CEO Katie Farmer, and Union Pacific CEO Jim Vena.

The day-and-a-half program will feature expert perspectives on current issues affecting freight rail operations and shipping, along with networking opportunities.

MARS will present its first Bill Schauer Industry Impact Award, honoring individuals whose work has significantly improved transportation across the Midwest.

Registration is $395 through Dec. 12, increasing to $450 afterward and $500 onsite. A block of hotel rooms is available at $174 per night until Dec. 22.
