BBI International has announced the 42nd annual Fuel Ethanol Workshop & Expo will take place June 2-4, 2026, at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
The event, known as the longest-running and largest ethanol conference in the world, returns to the city where it began in 1984 with just 40 attendees.
"Returning to St. Louis for the 2026 FEW feels like coming home to where it all began," said John Nelson, chief operating officer at BBI International. "St. Louis is not only part of our history—it's the perfect backdrop for shaping our future."
The announcement follows record-breaking attendance at the 2025 conference, which attracted nearly 2,500 attendees and 370 exhibitors.
The 2026 program will feature four concurrent tracks focusing on biological processes, mechanical processes, coproducts, and leadership. Three additional events will be co-located, including the Sustainable Fuels Summit, Carbon Capture & Storage Summit, and Ethanol 101 Summit.
