The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers (MARS) will hold its Summer Meeting July 8-9, 2025, at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The event's theme is "Advancing Tomorrow's Supply Chain, Today."
MARS President Steve Blinn emphasized the meeting's importance, stating, "With significant disruptions underway across the North American supply chain network, this mid-year event will provide critical insights for rail shippers."
The agenda includes presentations from industry leaders such as Kevin Boone of CSX, Karen Hedlund of the Surface Transportation Board, and John Orr of Norfolk Southern. Topics will cover finance, logistics, regulatory issues and rail operations.
The two-day event features a Scholarship Golf Outing, Pickleball Tournament, networking opportunities, and a full-day business meeting. Early registration, available until June 6, is $360, increasing to $435 afterward.
Attendees are encouraged to register promptly, as hotel accommodations are nearly sold out.
