New facilities boost handling and processing capacity

A wave of construction and expansion projects is reshaping the grain handling and soybean processing landscape across North America.

United Cooperative | soybean crushing plant
Location: Waupun, Wisconsin
Planned completion: 2026
The plant will crush 7.5 million bushels of soybeans annually and create 50 high-quality jobs.

Location: Destrehan, Louisiana
Planned completion: 2026
The new plant will feature a flexible design, intended to allow the processing of soybeans, as well as softseeds and novel winter oilseed crops.

The facility is expected to significantly benefit the Texas Panhandle region by enhancing local feed supply and strengthening agricultural capabilities.
