Through the collaboration, REDSTAR will manufacture and sell the product as REDVITA 43, using its established network of agricultural retailers and grower relationships. The partnership covers the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
REDVITA 43 is an agricultural biostimulant that increases corn yields by improving nutrient use efficiency. The product is formulated to mimic plant root exudate that supports soil microbial activity. By increasing the availability of nutrients early in the growing season, the product improves plant nutrient uptake and promotes stronger early season growth.
In multiyear trials hosted at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the product plus a liquid starter fertilizer increased corn yields up to seven bushels per acre versus starter fertilizer alone. REDVITA 43 is the same formulation that has been sold by ADM as NeoVita 43, with no changes to product composition or performance.
“REDSTAR LLC is committed to solutions that improve soil health and productivity, and we’re proud to bring REDVITA 43 to new customers across the Midwest,” said Tom Stanton, REDSTAR LLC commercial director. “REDVITA 43 has already made a real difference for many farmers by helping improve nutrient availability and fertilizer-use efficiency.”
Ashley Duehn, ADM sales manager, said the company’s farmer partners saw strong results with NeoVita 43. “We’re excited to work with REDSTAR to make this product available to even more growers,” Duehn said.
REDVITA 43 can be applied with liquid starter fertilizer at planting and can be applied foliar to help improve both herbicide efficacy and provide quick energy for crops. The product does not require additional mixing or special handling. It will be available in bulk and tote formats.
