WTOL11's Heather Schramm reported that a worker was rescued Tuesday morning after becoming stranded atop a grain elevator at The Andersons Metamora facility on State Route 120 in Metamora. Toledo Fire and Rescue’s technical rescue team reached the worker approximately 180 feet up and helped him safely to the ground. Although the worker was able to walk down with assistance, he was taken by ambulance to a hospital for evaluation. The cause of the accident and the worker’s condition have not been disclosed.
