Dairyland Labs acquires feed analysis laboratory
Company has purchased the feed laboratory from Waypoint Analytical in Leola, Pennsylvania.
Dairyland Laboratories has acquired the feed laboratory from Waypoint Analytical in Leola, Pennsylvania. Waypoint will continue to provide other services at the Leola location.
“This acquisition underscores our commitment to serving this key market through a sustainable business model that emphasizes local service with the expertise and technical support of an international network," said Kyle Taysom, CEO with Dairyland Laboratories.
Chris Langford, president of agriculture operations with Waypoint said the divestment of the livestock feed portion of the business will allow continued focus on the agronomic services Waypoint has provided for over 50 years.
"This renewed commitment to providing the highest level of service has and will continue to be our strength," said Langford.
Starting March 6, 2023, samples will be tested at Dairyland’s new laboratory located at 1817 Olde Homestead Lane, Suite 206, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Dairyland Laboratories is a completely independent laboratory providing extensive analysis of feed, forage, soil, water, manure, molds and mycotoxins. Established in 1958, it has grown to become a primary supplier of agriculture analysis with customers in 42 states, six Canadian provinces and over a dozen foreign countries.
