Multivac USA has announced the graduation of its first class of U.S. apprentices, adding six trained technical professionals to its national field service team.
The graduates completed a two-year program that combined classroom instruction, lab simulations, and real-world experience supporting packaging and processing systems, including those used in the pet food and medical sectors.
“We all recognize the urgent need for highly skilled technical professionals to sustain and grow our critical operations,” said Matt Malott, president of Multivac, Inc. “Multivac took that understanding and turned it into action, developing and making the investment in a structured apprenticeship program that recruits and trains emerging talent.”
The program prepares hands-on learners for careers in equipment service and support through mentorship, certifications and access to advanced packaging technologies.
“This is more than a graduation, it’s the beginning of a career path with incredible opportunity,” said Dave Sarazen, vice president of customer service. “We’re investing in our workforce and creating sustainable career pipelines that support both our customers and the future of American manufacturing.”
The six new professionals will support Multivac’s field service operations, which are key to maintaining equipment performance in food and pet food processing.
