The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has promoted Courtney Coe to membership and communications coordinator in the Washington, D.C, office, beginning March 20.
In her new role, Coe serves as a liaison between the membership and communication departments and manages website content, assists with membership meeting planning and implementation, maintains membership records and completes other various administrative duties.
She joined USGC in December 2016 as the receptionist and administrative assistant for the Council and the National Corn Growers Association. In that role, she was the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the organization's’ headquarters and provided support to the director of finance and administration as well as other staff members, giving her good insight into her new role’s responsibilities.
“Having worked with Courtney over the past few months, we know the caliber of her work and are excited to have her on our team,” said Melissa Kessler, USGC director of communications. “Both of our departments will benefit from her work, as will our members.”
Congratulations, Courtney!
