Tyson Foods Inc. has named Noel White, formerly the company's group president of beef, pork and International and a member of its enterprise leadership team, as its new chief executive officer.
The Memphis Business Journal reports White, who's worked for the company for 30 years, will replace Tom Hayes, who's been CEO only since late 2016 and is stepping down for "personal reasons."
Since early December, shares in Tyson, which is the No. 1 meat producer in the U.S., have fallen more than 25%.
