Knobelsdorff grows automation division with new hires

Knobelsdorff welcomes Liam Cassidy, senior executive director automation, and Jeff Martin, director of automation customer service and sales, to its growing automation team.

"On behalf of the executive team, we're excited to welcome Liam and Jeff on board to transform and elevate our digital automation landscape to the next level," said Karl von Knobelsdorff, CEO/president of Knobelsdorff.

Cassidy brings more than 23 years of automation experience, most recently as director of automation and digital services for Bühler Group. Cassidy holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and is a member of the International Society of Automation (ISA).

“Working with Knobelsdorff in the past, I was always impressed with their knowledge, dedication and ability to bring projects across the finish line,” said Cassidy. "I’m looking forward to growing Knobelsdorff’s automation division by developing innovative solutions to help improve our customers productivity and increase output capacity.”

Martin, also formally of Bühler Group, brings 12 years of automation and engineering experience as an ALC engineer, project engineer and sales and customer service manager. An electrician by trade, Martin holds an Industrial Controls and Robotics degree from Dunwoody College of Technology.

Cassidy and Martin will be based at Knobelsdorff's Eagan, Minnesota, office.
