An ethanol plant in Bluffton, IN, will soon be under new ownership reports Inside Indiana Business.

Nebraska-based Green Plains Inc. has announced plans to sell three of its ethanol plants, including one in Bluffton, to Texas-based Valero Renewable Fuels Co. LLC in a $328 million deal.

The other two plants involved in the sale are located in Lakota, IA, and Riga, MI. Green Plains says the transaction involves approximately 20% of its reported ethanol production capacity.
