Nutrien Ag Solutions celebrated the completion of a major infrastructure upgrade at its Tipton, Indiana, retail facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday.
The modernized facility, part of the company's broader capital improvement initiative across North America, brings expanded capabilities to support farmers throughout central Indiana.
"This facility is a showcase of innovation, built with one goal in mind: supporting farmer success," said Rob Clayton, Senior Vice President of North American Retail, during the ceremony attended by employees, local farmers, suppliers and community leaders.
The upgraded site features a 5,000-ton dry fertilizer storage system with rail access and 250-ton-per-hour blending capabilities. It also includes 2 million gallons of UAN storage, 240,000 gallons of nutritional storage, and 110,000 gallons of chemistry storage.
An enhanced anhydrous ammonia system with four riser platforms, 120,000 gallons of NH3 storage, and stabilizer injection capabilities further strengthens the facility's offerings.
A modernized office completes the improvements, designed to increase operational efficiency and customer service.
The Tipton location represents one of Nutrien's most advanced retail facilities, built to anticipate growing needs in regions experiencing rapid agricultural development.
Guests toured the facility following the ceremony, witnessing how the new infrastructure will support agricultural operations throughout the region.
