Moose Jaw Express' Aaron Walker reported that the Parrish & Heimbecker's grain elevator in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, ended operations on Dec. 19, 2025, concluding decades of grain handling. The final delivery was made by veteran driver Kelly Bumphrey, who has hauled grain to the facility for decades, marking a symbolic end to an era in the city's agricultural history.
The company's crop input operations at the site remain fully operational, and producers can deliver grain to nearby P&H locations in Congress, Watrous, and Weyburn. No plans have been announced for the historic structure, which once featured the iconic Robin Hood Flour figure painted on it in 1922.
