U.S. export sales posted a mixed performance for the week ending June 26, according to USDA’s latest U.S. Export Sales Report, with notable strength in soybean and wheat activity but marked declines in corn and sorghum sales.

Wheat net sales for 2025/2026 totaled 586,000 metric tons (MT), with major commitments from the Philippines (162,000 MT), Thailand (60,000 MT) and the Dominican Republic (59,700 MT). Weekly wheat exports reached 553,500 MT, led by shipments to Mexico (141,000 MT), Indonesia (75,400 MT) and the Philippines (55,000 MT).

Corn net sales for 2024/2025 dropped 28% from the prior week to 532,700 MT, impacted by reductions to Spain and unknown destinations. Corn exports held steady at 1.47 million MT but were 11% below the 4-week average. Key destinations included Mexico (435,700 MT), Japan (242,700 MT) and South Korea (208,700 MT). New-crop sales for 2025/2026 reached 940,200 MT, led by Mexico (672,000 MT).

Sorghum net sales totaled 71,100 MT, primarily to Spain and Japan, but fell sharply from the prior week. Exports, however, jumped to 86,000 MT, with Spain receiving the lion’s share (70,200 MT). A correction was made to last week’s report, shifting 70,200 MT of sorghum exports from China to Spain.

Soybean net sales for 2024/2025 rose 15% to 462,400 MT, led by unknown destinations (190,500 MT) and Egypt (165,000 MT). New-crop sales hit 239,000 MT. Weekly soybean exports dipped 5% to 251,600 MT.

Soybean meal sales surged to 306,200 MT for 2024/2025 and 397,400 MT for 2025/2026. Exports slipped to 238,300 MT. Soybean oil net sales jumped to 11,800 MT, with Venezuela and Mexico as the top buyers.

Beef and pork sales also softened, with beef net sales down 19% to 11,400 MT and pork net sales falling 47% to 27,100 MT.
