With revenues of approximately $330 million, Rumbold and Kuhn, Inc., which celebrated their 70-year anniversary in 2022, manages seven commercial grain elevator facilities in Illinois. The acquisition will see River Valley Cooperative expand its presence and further reinforce its commitment to serving customers in the Illinois trade area.

Founded in 1906, River Valley Cooperative is a full-service agricultural cooperative that caters to over 3,100 farm families in Eastern Iowa and Northwest Illinois. With annual sales exceeding $1.2 billion, the cooperative operates 35 locations and employs over 400 dedicated individuals. River Valley Cooperative offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including agronomy, energy, feed, and now, with the acquisition of Rumbold and Kuhn, a stronger presence in the grain business.
