
The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) announced the promotion of three key staff members, effective May 1, highlighting their dedication to advancing the association’s mission and supporting members.
Gary Huddleston, promoted to senior director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs, has been with AFIA since 2015. Bringing over 30 years of feed manufacturing experience, Huddleston manages regulatory efforts involving the FDA, OSHA, EPA, and Department of Transportation. He is also a top instructor for the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance, having trained over 1,000 participants.
Jessica Morse, now senior director of meetings and events, has contributed five years to AFIA. She leads planning and execution of major conferences, including the International Production & Processing Expo and the Feed Industry Institute. Morse has enhanced attendee experiences by fostering member connections aligned with AFIA’s advocacy goals.
Lynette Tucker was promoted to senior manager of meetings and sponsorships. Since joining in 2019, she has coordinated events like the Pet Food Conference and Liquid Feed Symposium. Tucker focuses on innovative sponsorship opportunities to increase brand visibility and add value to AFIA’s educational programs.
AFIA President and CEO Constance Cullman praised the promotions as recognition of the individuals’ expertise and commitment to serving members.
