The move adds a dedicated manager on the ground to help oversee the execution of the council’s market development and international cooperation initiatives in a key export market. 

Soria joined the council this week, bringing more than 15 years of experience to the position. Her background includes supporting market development programs, international cooperation initiatives and embassy-led operations. USGBC cited her foundation in program logistics and donor-related work as assets for the role. 

As logistics and program manager, Soria is responsible for operational coordination of council programs throughout Mexico. The appointment puts an emphasis on the details of program delivery and partner coordination within the country. 

The addition of a logistics-focused manager reflects a focus on addressing operational challenges in international market development. Industry participants will be watching how this strengthened on-the-ground presence translates into program execution.
