Women in Agribusiness (WIA) has introduced a new industry-focused webinar series as an added benefit for its members, with the first session, “Ag Markets in Motion: Trade, Tariffs & 2025 Economic Shifts,” scheduled for May 29 from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern Time. The series aims to provide agricultural professionals with timely market intelligence and strategic foresight.
The members-only webinar will feature agricultural economist Michelle Klieger, president of Stratagerm Consulting, and Brenna Buckstaff, strategic foresight expert and principal at Kearney. WIA’s assistant director Janet Fisher will moderate.
“As agricultural markets continue to navigate economic turbulence and geopolitical unpredictability, staying ahead of trade dynamics and policy shifts is more critical than ever,” said Fisher. “This high-impact session is tailored to decision-makers across the agri-food value chain and designed to equip ag professionals with timely market intelligence and strategic foresight.”
During the 60-minute webinar, the experts will:
- Outline key economic signals shaping the 2025 ag landscape.
- Break down the latest developments in U.S. trade and tariff policy.
- Explore how global tensions and domestic priorities are reshaping ag commodity flows.
- Engage with the audience in a live Q&A discussion.
