
The Kansas Grain and Feed Association (KGFA) has selected Andrew Fullerton of Bartlett Grain A Savage Company as its 90th chairman during its 129th annual meeting in Wichita. Fullerton, who leads Bartlett Grain's Grain Origination Team and Business Development efforts, brings over 15 years of industry experience to the role.
"I am honored to be the incoming chairman," Fullerton said, emphasizing the association's long history of agricultural advocacy.
The two-day event attracted nearly 200 members for networking and educational sessions. Keynote speaker Dave Young, executive director of the Kansas Fusion Center, addressed security threats facing agribusiness. State legislative leaders also provided updates on policies affecting the industry.
KGFA President and CEO Ron Seeber expressed satisfaction with the meeting's turnout and content, highlighting the value for members in understanding industry challenges and legislative impacts.
The association bestowed its Sunflower Award on Gary Gantz of D.E. Bondurant Grain Company for his decade-long service on KGFA's Board of Directors. Additionally, the membership re-elected two board members and welcomed two new nominees.
The event concluded with a golf tournament at Reflection Ridge Golf Course, fostering further networking opportunities for attendees.
