
The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) Exchange is set to take place February 21-24 in Kansas City, Missouri. The annual conference and trade show brings together grain handling and processing professionals from across the globe for networking, education and product discovery.
Each year, Exchange offers opportunities for hands-on learning and collaboration with more than 3,500 attendees, hundreds of trade show booths, hours of educational sessions, and events to foster connections and skill-building. Here’s what to expect at GEAPS Exchange 2026:
Keynote Session: Supersonic Success
Speaker: Captain Jack Becker
February 22, 8-9:30 a.m. | Discover what it takes to stay mission-focused as the speaker takes attendees behind closed doors to learn why U.S. fighter pilots are the best in the world. Becker will teach his simple and repeatable process for building on successes while avoiding repeating mistakes — helping teams perform at a higher level.
Idea Exchange
February 22, 9:45-11 a.m. | This showcases the latest innovations and practical improvements in grain operations, featuring a series of short, impactful presentations. Idea Exchange is divided in two parts:
- What’s New? - Highlights cutting-edge products and services developed in the past year.
- Small Changes: Big Impact – Grain operations share the ideas they’ve implemented to improve safety or efficiency at their facilities or enhance environmental awareness, company culture or community involvement.
Grain Entrapment Rescue Demonstration
A live, hands-on demonstration of grain bin rescue techniques and prevention practices. This session highlights real-world safety procedures used in grain handling operations and demonstrates the tools and teamwork required during an emergency. There are five opportunities February 22 through February 24 to attend this critical safety session on the Expo Hall floor.
Innovation Stations
February 22: 1:45-2:30 p.m., 3:45-4:30 p.m.
February 23: 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 1:45-2:30 p.m., 3:45-4:30 p.m.
February 24: 10:30-11:15 a.m.
Located in the Expo Hall, the concurrent Innovation Stations offer interactive learning opportunities for small groups of attendees. Featuring equipment demos and presentations, each station session aligns with one of five tracks: processing, employee development, maintenance, grain operations and safety.
Trade Show
February 21: 11:15 a.m.-6 p.m.
February 23: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
February 24: 10 a.m.-1:45 p.m.
The trade show is the heart of the GEAPS Exchange. Exhibitors showcase the latest products, technologies and equipment, allowing attendees to explore solutions for their grain operations. The trade show floor also serves as the hub for meals, educational sessions and receptions.
Education Sessions
February 23: 8-9 a.m., 9:15-10 a.m., 10:15-11 a.m.
February 24: 8-9 a.m., 9:15-10 a.m.
A variety of 45-minute to hour-long presentations given by industry experts to provide critical and practical information for grain industry professionals. Education topics range from grain operations and safety to employee development and processing.
Grain Merchandisers Networking
February 22: 4:30-5:30 p.m.
The Grain Merchandisers Networking event in the Expo Hall Innovation Station is designed to provide an opportunity for merchandisers to meet, share insights and form relationships that enable collaboration across the value chain.
