Clark’s Feed Mill begins major concrete pour for new mill

Family-owned feed operation reaches critical construction phase on 120-foot tower after nearly a century in business.

Clark’s Feed Mill began a major construction phase this week as crews work around the clock to pour concrete for a new 120-foot mill tower, marking a significant milestone for the family business that has served the agricultural community since 1929.

The concrete pouring phase is expected to last approximately one week, with about 200 workers on site throughout the process. Construction activity will continue day and night as the company builds what represents one of its largest investments in nearly a century of operation.

Traffic impacts expected

Motorists should expect increased traffic and occasional delays in the surrounding area as concrete trucks and construction vehicles enter and exit the site frequently. Company officials are asking drivers to use extra caution, obey posted traffic directions and allow additional travel time when passing through the area.

The new facility represents an investment in employees, customers and local agriculture as the fourth-generation operation continues expanding its reach beyond the local farming community it originally served.

Century-long legacy continues

Founded by Joe Clark with a dream to feed local farmers, the business has grown into a feed mill and poultry operation that now raises nearly 400,000 birds each week and feeds families across the country. The company is approaching its 100th anniversary in 2029.

The expansion directly impacts the company’s ability to grow and remain competitive in the industry while honoring the legacy of four generations of family ownership and dedicated employees who have supported the operation through every challenge and season.
