KMA Land's Mike Peterson reported that fire crews from Red Oak, Elliott and Stanton battled a fire at Grain Craft in Montgomery County, Iowa, on the morning of November 25. Dispatched shortly after 9 a.m., firefighters found flames in two exterior processing stacks. Using Red Oak’s aerial truck, crews extinguished the fire by 10:30 a.m.
The blaze was contained to the exterior stacks, with no injuries reported. Damage assessment is ongoing by company maintenance staff. The facility remains operational. The response involved multiple agencies, including the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and local utilities.
