Premium dog food brand Jinx has launched Fresh, a new refrigerated product line available exclusively at Walmart stores beginning in August.
The Fresh lineup includes two protein combinations: Cage-Free Turkey & Sockeye Salmon and Farm-Raised Chicken & Turkey. Products are offered in two formats — Fresh Rolls for slicing and serving, and Fresh Meals with a scoopable texture — across two package sizes, totaling eight SKUs.
The company said the launch addresses growing consumer interest in hybrid feeding, which combines fresh food with traditional kibble. The company said it developed Fresh after identifying gaps in the refrigerated dog food category for products that balance quality ingredients with accessible pricing.
"We launched Jinx Fresh to give pet parents more of what they've been asking for –- high-quality, nutritious food in fresh, exciting formats that dogs actually love," said Kyle Banahan, CEO of Jinx. "Teaming up with Walmart lets us bring this innovation to more shelves across the country and helps us stay true to our mission: making premium pet food more accessible and affordable for families everywhere."
Each Fresh recipe features premium proteins as the first ingredient, clean ingredients and superfoods. Products undergo gentle cooking processes designed to preserve nutritional value. The Fresh line expands Jinx's existing portfolio of dry and canned dog food products. Jinx positions itself as a premium brand focused on accessible nutrition for dogs.
